Hallmark named People’s Choice Winner by Stockland

Hallmark Homes is proud to announce that we have been named a ‘People’s Choice’ winner, based on customer feedback from Stockland, Australia’s largest community creator.
“This is a new initiative, powered by our mutual customers, to recognise the builders who deliver the best customer experiences within Stockland communities,” explained Chris Kenny, National Customer Experience Manager for Stockland.
Hallmark Homes was rated amongst the top five builders in Queensland. Winners were based on a national sample of 1,200 Stockland customers using the percentage of respondents that rated their overall experience as ‘very good’ or ‘excellent’.
The People’s Choice awards are aligned with Stockland’s strategy of enhancing the end-to-end experience of customers embarking on the new build journey. This process starts with the land but also includes building a new home, so, the developer and the builder both have a part to play in ensuring the experience is as positive as possible.
Putting the customer first.
“At Hallmark, we’re always looking for ways to improve the customer experience and this award proves that we are definitely on the money. We can always do better though, and look forward to constantly improving our performance in the key areas identified by Stockland, of overall experience, likelihood to recommend and how easy it is to build,” explained Izaac Mathieson, Hallmark Homes’ General Manager of Sales & Marketing.
“We are thrilled that Stockland has created this initiative. It has provided some valuable insights for us to build on, so we can provide an even better customer experience, and that’s what we’re all about at Hallmark.”
The key insight from the survey was that customers are looking for a builder who is professional, approachable and knowledgeable. Although this might seem obvious, some builders are not meeting customer expectations in these crucial areas.
The study also found that the highest rated builders create an open-door relationship throughout the build process, from sales and admin, right through to suppliers and site supervisors. Transparency and great communication builds customer confidence, so if there are any delays, the customer feels reassured that they are in safe hands. Trust is a high priority for anyone looking to choose a builder.
Around 70% of Hallmark’s business comes from repeat customers and referrals.
